This evening, I was just too confused to think about what's for . Thinking about the yet again roti and subji!!! uuufff...no way...ok rice?? no way!!! Then, bling!!! came a thought. Yes, this dosa came up to my mind... But did not know the recipe at all. So called up my paati (grand mother) then got it fatta fatt!!!
Now, why did I name this as Ashirwaad Dosa??? he he he.... Because I used, Ashirwaad Atta!!!! :) :) :) :)
What you need:
- Wheat - 1 1/2 cups
- Rice Flour - 1/2 cup
- Rava - 1/2 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
- Onion - 1 finely chopped
- Green Chilly - 2 finely chopped
- Coriander - finely chopped
- Pepper & Jeera - 1/2 tsp each
- Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Oil - for the dosa
How to go about it:
- In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients, like wheat, rice flour, rava, salt, cumin seeds (jeera), pepper, baking soda and mix lightly.
- Now add water and bring the batter to a dosa batter consistency. Neither too watery nor too tight. Let the batter sit for for atleast 10 - 15 minutes.
- Chop, onions green chilies, coriander and add it to the batter and mix thoroughly.
- Heat oil and splutter the mustard seeds and curry leaves and add to the batter.
- Heat a dosa tawa, add the batter and spread it. Your dosa is ready!!!
- Serve with sambar and chutney.
