Aloo Palak Paratha (Potato and Spinach Paratha)

I've heard a lot of mother's complain that their little one's don't eat spinach at all. And they have thought of so many ways to add these so called boring veggies in their diet. My hubby is also similar to a child. Doesn't eat anything!!!

So planned this recipe and he really liked it!!! The green green atta and the yummy yummy stuffing...WOW...

What you need:

For the Atta:

  1. Atta - as needed
  2. Spinach - a small bunch
  3. Tomato - 1
  4. Onion - 1
  5. Salt - to taste
For the Stuffing:
  1. Potato - 2
  2. Coriander leaves - finely chopped
  3. Green Chilies - de seeded & finely chopped
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Oil/ Ghee - for the paratha

How to do:
  1. Wash the spinach, onion and tomato, put them in a bowl and add little water. Pressure cook or steam them for a single whistle.
  2. Cool the vegetables and make them into a paste.
  3. Take required atta and add the spinach paste into it and mix it to form a dough.
  4. Now, boil and mash the potatoes. Mix all the ingredients for the stuffing and keep it ready.
  5. Now take a ball of dough and put the stuffing mixture into it. Seal it and roll it.
  6. Heat a pan and add the paratha. Cook on both sides.
  7. Serve with a cold raita.....
